We design every pair to be worn confidently, backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty and Accidental Damage Protection, which covers scratched lenses and accidental breakage. Life happens, and we’ve got you covered.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Abaco Polarized’s Limited Lifetime Warranty (“Warranty”) covers manufacturer defects in materials, components, and workmanship for the entire time the original purchaser or gift recipient owns the sunglasses.
- Materials include frames, lenses, and lens coatings.
- Components include hinges, screws, and nose pads.
- Workmanship includes assembly.

Accidental Damage Protection
We know things happen—whether your Abacos get scratched, crushed, or chewed up by your dog. That’s why we include accidental damage protection to cover:
- Broken frames
- Scratched lenses
- Other accidental damage
Our goal is to get you back into your favorite sunglasses without breaking the bank.

Prescription Sunglass Warranty
- Frame: Covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty.
- Prescription Lenses: Covered for up to one year for manufacturer defects if installed by Abaco.
- Scratches: Covered if anti-reflective/scratch-resistant coating was purchased.
If prescription lenses were installed by a third party, we only cover the frame. If your model is discontinued, we’ll offer a similar style—but cannot guarantee lens fit.

Backordered Items
If your model or color is currently on backorder you’ll have two options:
- Wait for the item to restock
- Choose a different model or color of equal or lesser value at no additional cost
If you’d like to upgrade to a higher-priced model, you can simply pay the difference between the original model and your preferred upgrade—plus the standard warranty shipping/processing fee.
Discontinued Items
If your model or color is discontinued you will have the opportunity to Choose a different model of equal or lesser value at no additional cost.
If you’d like to upgrade to a higher-priced model, you can pay the difference between the original model and your preferred upgrade, plus the standard warranty shipping/processing fee.
Warranty coverage transfers to your new pair after a replacement is issued.
Eligibility
To qualify for warranty coverage, you must:
- Purchase from an Abaco Authorized Dealer
- Register your sunglasses within 30 days using the code provided at purchase
- If you didn’t receive a code, you may be eligible for one at our discretion by submitting proof of purchase
- You must still have broken sunglasses in your possession in order to be approved.
A clear photo of the sunglasses showing all angles of the sunglass is required. Additional photos or product return may be requested. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
What’s Not Covered
- Lost or stolen items
- Superficial scratches or cosmetic blemishes that do not affect vision or performance
How to Submit a Claim
All claims are handled directly through our website. Most claims can be completed by simply uploading photos of all angles of the sunglasses plus a clear photo of the damage. If you can not provide clear photos of all angles or the damage you can ship the sunglasses back to our location so that we can process the claim for you.
Upon replacement, the warranty transfers to the new pair.
Valid within the Continental U.S. and U.S. Territories.

- Canada $19.99 Shipping/Processing Fee (Takes 2 -3 weeks to arrive)
- International: Fee quoted based on location
- In-Store: Visit our Greensboro Flagship Store— A fee may still apply depending on the issue.
Duties and taxes may apply for international shipments. Fees are subject to change at Abaco’s discretion, your warranty will be based on the date that you purchased.
