Abaco was established January 1, 2008 as a boutique sunglass store in a small touristy town in Jupiter, Florida. Selling high end designer brand sunglasses with exceptional customer service, we quickly received a loyal customer base of sunglass lovers from near and far wanting to purchase from our company exclusively. Then it came to us. We need to bring our outstanding customer service and buying experience online for even more people to enjoy. We launched our e-commerce site in July 2008 with increasing success each year thereafter. Our knowledgable and friendly staff continue to have a passion for helping our customers find sunglasses just right for them.
Over the past several years our team has sold tens of thousands of sunglasses to customers all over the world. We continue to gain knowledge and experience of the sunglass business, and in doing so, have come to the realization that while the price of brand name sunglasses has increased, the quality has not. High end designer sunglasses are simply not known for the quality of their lenses, and sport sunglasses that do have good quality polarized lenses are certainly not known for their fresh style and design. It was then that we put our heads together and came to the conclusion that it is time for us to create a new brand of sunglasses based on our customers needs and wants. Through countless hours of designing, engineering and strategizing, we made it our mission to manufacture great looking, high quality polarized sunglasses at affordable prices. We developed an affordable line of chic sunglasses for fashion conscious millennials, all while protecting their eyes with high quality polarized lenses - and Abaco Sunglasses was born.
Abaco’s main focus is to provide outstanding customer service, fast shipping and an easy return policy. We continue to design a fantastic selection of frames and lenses from classic to contemporary in a bold selection of energetic colors and styles. Not only comfortable and stylish, Abaco Sunglasses are polarized and provide UV400 protection to protect and preserve the eye from damaging ultraviolet radiation, especially when the UV index is high, and that’s most days here in the Sunshine State.
