Every pair is backed by coverage that goes beyond traditional warranties, including:
- Manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship

Limited Lifetime Warranty
Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials, components, and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser or gift recipient owns the sunglasses.
Materials include:
- Frames
- Lenses
- Lens coatings
Components include:
- Hinges
- Screws
- Nose pads
Workmanship includes:
- Assembly and construction
Accidental Damage Protection
We know sunglasses aren’t just worn — they’re lived in.
Our accidental damage protection covers:
- Scratched lenses
- Broken frames
- Other accidental damage
Whether they’re dropped, crushed, or chewed up by your dog, we’ll help you get back up and running.
Warranty Eligibility
To qualify for warranty coverage:
- Product must be purchased from an Abaco Authorized Dealer
- Registration within 30 days is recommended to ensure the fastest claim processing
- Proof of purchase may be required
- You must retain possession of the damaged product until the claim is completed
- Clear photos of the sunglasses and the damage are required
We may request additional photos or require the product to be returned for inspection if the damage cannot be clearly verified or if prior replacement activity is suspected. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Once a replacement is issued, warranty coverage transfers to the new pair, and the original item is no longer eligible for future claims.
We reserve the right to limit or deny claims in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or excessive claim activity.
What’s Not Covered
The following are not covered under our warranty:
- Lost or stolen items
- Damage where the product is no longer in the customer’s possession
- Cosmetic blemishes that do not affect performance or vision
- Normal wear and tear that does not impact functionality
- Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Prescription lenses installed by third parties
- Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or resellers
We reserve the right to limit or deny coverage in cases where claims cannot be verified or where repeated claims indicate potential misuse of the warranty program.
How to Submit a Claim
All warranty claims are handled directly through our website.
Most claims can be completed in just a few minutes by:
- Uploading clear photos of the sunglasses from all angles
- Providing a clear photo of the damage
- Submitting your claim through our online form
To avoid delays, please ensure all images are well-lit and clearly show the condition of the product.
If the damage cannot be verified through photos, we may request additional images or require the product to be returned for inspection. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Incomplete submissions may delay processing or require resubmission.
Fees
- USA: $12.99 shipping/processing fee
- Canada: $19.99 shipping/processing fee (2–3 weeks delivery)
- International: Fee quoted based on location
- In-Store: Visit our Greensboro Flagship Store. A fee may still apply depending on the issue.
Duties and taxes may apply for international shipments.
Fees are subject to change. The applicable fee will be based on the original purchase date.
Prescription Sunglasses
- Frame: Covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty
- Prescription Lenses: Covered for one year against manufacturer defects if installed by Abaco
- Scratches: Covered only if anti-reflective/scratch-resistant coating was purchased
If prescription lenses were installed by a third party, only the frame is covered.
If your model is discontinued, we’ll offer a similar style, but cannot guarantee lens compatibility.
Backorders & Discontinued Models
If your model or color is unavailable, you may:
- Wait for restock
- Select a different model of equal or lesser value at no additional cost
- Upgrade to a higher-priced model by paying the difference
Additional Terms
- Warranty coverage transfers to replacement products
- Claims may be limited or denied in cases of abuse, fraud, or excessive claims activity
- This Warranty provides specific legal rights; additional rights may vary by state
